In April of this year the borough council approved the purchase of a “Traffic Logix” speed sign to be used to deter speeding in the neighborhood and collect data. Thank you to Steve Tassaro for taking the initiative to collect the data in the beginning – the task has since been passed on to Luke Hottinger & Erin O’Toole to continue and report on. We have been working with Charlie and Steve to get the sign placed in different locations around the neighborhood. Each location will record data for approximately 10 days before being moved to another location. As of June we have been able to collect very preliminary data on average speed and number of cars that drive by the sign on a daily basis.
