December Police Activity Report 2020

December was a fairly quiet month with respect to police activity in Rosslyn Farms. One tractor-trailer was cited for violating the truck ordinance and another tractor-trailer driver called 911 to request assistance after getting off the Parkway and seeing the “No Tractor Trailer” signs. Scott Police assisted him with getting back on the Parkway and off at the correct exit. Another police department requested Scott Police to contact a resident with respect to an accident that occurred in another community. Residents should be aware of various scams involving e-mails and phone calls requesting their help with buying gift cards. Usually, these e-mails are from a hacked e-mail account from someone you know. Never buy or send any gift cards until you talk to the person and confirm their identity.
