In addition to helping with traffic and providing rides in the police car on the 4th of July, the Scott Police Department responded to several burglar alarms in the industrial district, a medical assist, a wounded dog roaming in Parrish Park, and a man walking in the middle of Pilgrim Road late one night. Thankfully it was a quiet month.
Parkway Ramp
We received word from Penn Dot that the Parkway Ramp construction work will start on August 19 and hopefully take less than two weeks to complete. They plan to close the Parkway Inbound from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. on weeknights and from 9 p.m. to 10 a.m. on weekends in order to complete the work. Fingers crossed by the end of the month our ramp will be open!
