Police Activity Report September 2020

Thankfully, there were only a few police calls during the month of September. There were two false alarm calls in the industrial park and one at a residence. A tractor trailer struck overhead cable lines at the corner of Kings Highway and Rosslyn Road. A member of Council saw the truck and took a picture of  the license plate which was given to Scott Twp. police. Scott Police were able to identify the company that owned the trailer and the company gave them the driver information. A $500.00 citation was issued to the driver for the truck ordinance violation.

Several adjoining communities have experienced thefts from unlocked vehicles. One vehicle was stolen when the owner left the keys in the car. If you’re old enough to drive, you should be old enough to figure out how these crimes could have been prevented. Enough said?
