October 2018

During October, Scott Township police responded to a total of five false alarms, one residential and four in the Industrial Park. Of the five alarms, two were false fire alarms to which the Crafton VFD also responded. There were two incidents involving sick raccoons that also involved animal control. Scott police were called over a dispute between a resident and a contractor. Four calls were responded to in which the suspects of the calls were gone upon police arrival. These calls involved a report of a car hitting a dog, a person going to a resident soliciting for an electric provider, mountain bike trespassers on a residential property and an individual drunk and stumbling on a roadway. The final call involved credit card fraud which was handled by the card company.
