July Police Report 2020

Scott Township Police responded to the following calls during July:

  • On three separate days, police responded to the area of Alden and Edgecliff for a report of a male screaming.
  • Police issued a citation ti ta tractor trailer stuck at the corner of Edgecliff and Park.
  • Police performed a welfare check on a resident, responded to a false fire alarm activated by dust, and to a suspicious person who knocked on a resident’s door because they were lost.
  • Police responded to a downed power line call that was caused by a low hanging line that was struck by a delivery truck. Duquesne Light was called.

During July a large moving van was stuck in Kings Highway. Moving vans are permitted but that does not mean that they can navigate our streets. If you are moving out and someone will be moving in, please advise the moving company that a smaller truck is required. Very few streets in Rosslyn Farms can handle a large moving van. Stay safe!
